These systems consist of an onshore air compressor that pumps air out to 1 or more bottom-placed diffuser disks in the pond. These systems work by moving water from the bottom of the pond to the surface. As water travels to the surface, its oxygen content increases. The currents created by aeration systems help keep the water mixed and do not allow a thermocline to form. This type of system is not recommended for ponds that are 8 feet deep or less. All ATAC diffused aeration systems come with membrane-style diffusers and anchor ties for attaching bricks (not included) to airline and 1 marker float per diffuser for easy retrieval. All systems carry a one year warranty.
